A Lifeline of Hope: How You Made Christmas Possible

For Becs, Christmas wasn't about gifts- it was about survival. After her two-year old son Noah was diagnosed with leukaemia, months of treatment left her exhausted and broke. "Coming up to Christmas, you're not even thinking about it". she says. "I just couldn't afford it".

Then The Salvation Army stepped in - with more than food, with digity. "You actually get a proper Christmas parcel- the chicken, the gravy and everything. You can have a family dinner. It's not just random stuff. It's meaningful. We were thought about".

That meal gave Becs hope.  "If you have got hope, you've got something"
